Double corrosion protection:

Side panels: Galvanised and powder coated
Worktop: 304 food grade stainless steel
UV (colour fading) protection:
Powder coating: 15 years UV stabilised
High pressure laminates front doors: 80 years UV stabilised
The worktop is made of carefully polished, acid-proof food grade stainless steel that is resistant to heat and is easy to clean and maintain. The precise opening in the worktop is laser cut and grill stand shelf can be adjusted in 30 mm increments (7 positions) to fit your specific kamado grill model.
Front panels are made of HPL (High pressure laminate) – extreme weather-resistant, easy to clean high-pressure laminate made in Austria. HPL panels are frost and heat resistant under constant temperature load -80 °C to 80 °C. HPL panels come printed on both sides. The core is flame-retardant and the surface is lightfast. Extreme weather protection consists of double-hardened acrylic polyurethane resins. Unlike solid wood, HPL is absolutely no-maintenance material. Abrasion, impacts, scratches, and extreme temperature variations – none of these will be an issue from now on. The panel surface closely resembles traditional hardwood and even feels like hardwood when you’re touching it.

The method of the electrophoretic cathode metal coating is a technological process used for coating of metal surfaces with a thin, solid and corrosion-resistant paint layer.
The prepared parts are coated in a paint bath (~ 20 m3), where paint using an electrical current is precipitated onto a cathode. The excess paint is washed off to get an even coating and dried at high temperature ~ 200 °C.
Coating process ensures an even and desired thickness coating for any geometrically complicated structures as well as for inner cavities of the parts. It is a standard method of coating used in the automotive industry for more than 25 years.
